Honor and Respect

Beginning with the American Revolution, for 250 years, the men and women who served honorably in the United States military have upheld their solemn oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic. They did their duty most unsung, except to their fellow service members, family, and friends, while others earned our nation’s highest awards and honors. Most survived their military service, but many were wounded physically, mentally or spiritually. And forever to be honored are those who made the supreme sacrifice. Our nation gives honor and respect to the service members who have gone before us.

By remembering and honoring those who have served, we inspire patriotism and a sense of duty in our citizens to serve in the military, so our country will have a strong and prosperous future.
